Cristina Neal is currently majoring in business entrepreneurship and looks forward to opening her own business in the next five years. In high school, Cristina was the Homecoming Queen of 2008 and a Varsity Cheerleader. She also was involved in multiple clubs including, Physical Education Leadership, Mentoring, and The Invisible Children Club. Cristina Co-founded The Invisible Children Club at her high school, which was created to help raise awareness and money for Ugandan children escaping the Lord's Resistant Army. As president of the club, she conducted a multitude of interviews, including an hour long televised interview in Chicago. The Mayor of Aurora, Illinois recognized Cristina for being the top fundraiser of the year and presented her with a personal check for her club. Besides her involvement in school, she also maintains a strong presence in her community. She loves volunteering at her church, volunteering at Give Our Children the World Inc., and teaching English abroad. After high school, she was awarded a scholarship from Rotary International to represent The United States as an exchange student. For a year, she lived in Southern Chile with a loving host family. After returning to the United States, she attended The University of Tampa, where she studied Communications. Soon after, she realized her passion was for business, so she changed her major and transferred to Orlando. Apart from studying, Cristina enjoys working in the entertainment industry as a model. Her latest endeavor has become beauty pageants. Ultimately, Cristina is striving to become the first Miss America Puerto Rico to win Miss America.
